no. \: of \: moles \: of \: gas \: at \: ntp \\ n=  \frac{v}{vm}

where,

n=no. of moles of gas

v=volume of gas in L

vm= molar volume in L which is at STP=22.7 L,and at NTP=22.7 L

Given,

v=5 L

vm= 22.7 L (as gas is at NTP)

putting values in above formula,

n =  \frac{5l}{22.7l}

n = 0.220 \: moles

also ,

n =  \frac{given \: mass}{molar \: mass}

n=no. of moles

given mass= 14.4 g

putting values ,we get

0.220=  \frac{14.4}{mm}

upon solving,

m = 3.168 \: grams
