1 ml =1 g = 1 cm 3

1000 ml = 1000g = 1 kg = 1 l

5 l = 5kg = 5000 g = 5000 cm3

Density = mass  / volume

             =5000 g / 5000cm3

             =1 g / cm3

But mass of water is equal to volume of water. Not for other liquids. Density of water is 1 g/ cm 3

DENSITY IF LIQUID IS 1000 kg/.

Given:

  • Volume of liquid = 5 litres
  • Weight of liquid = 5 kgf

To find:

Density of liquid ?

Calculation:

First of all, let's find the mass of liquid:

  • kgf is a unit of weight.
  • So, when the weight is 5 kgf, the mass will be 5 kg.

Now, volume is 5 litres :

  • 1 litre = 10^(-3) m³
  • So, 5 litre = 5 × 10^(-3) m³

Hence, density will be :

 \rho =  \dfrac{mass}{volume}

 \implies \:  \rho =  \dfrac{5}{5 \times  {10}^{ - 3} }

 \implies \:  \rho =  1000 \:kg/ {m}^{3}

So, density of liquid is 1000 kg/.
