Answer:

given: volume of kerosene oil=5 litre=0.005=5 x10^-3m^3(cubic metre)

mass of kerosene oil=4.40kg

to find:

density in CGS unit and SI unit

solution:

density=mass /volume

SI:

density= 4.40/5 x 10^-3

density=0.88/10^-3=0.88 x10^3kg/m^3

CGS:

density=(0.88x10^3) x 10^3+10^2g/cm^3

=(0.88x10^3) x 10^5g/cm^3

=(0.88x10^3+5)g/cm^3

=0.88x 10^8g/cm^3
