density = mass \div volume

1l = 1000cm ^{3}

volume= 5l = 5000cm³

mass=4.4kg = 4400gm

density : (4400/5000)

0.88g/cm³( CGS UNIT)

for the si unit

1gm cm ^{ - 3 }  = 1000kgm ^{ - 3}

0.88g/cm³=1000*0.88kg/m³

= 880kg/m³
