Answer:Muhammed Bin Tughluq was a very powerful ruler of the Tughluq Dynasty. He had both strengths and weaknesses. According to Ibn Batuta, his strength was that he had great ideas but his weakness was tht all of those ideas failed because the people couldn't understand them. For example, to increase revenue collection, he raised land tax in doab region, which was a good decision but at a wrong timing. Doab region was facing a famine at tht time. Ultimately, he had to withdraw his orders. Another decision was to shift capital from delhi to Daulatabad. This also was a good decision because Daulatabad was safe from mongol attacks, but he couldn't keep a watch on northern frontiers from Daulatabad, so this order also was withdrawn. Muhammad Bin Tughluq also introduced a token currency of copper and brass due to shortage of silver. This was a very good decision. However, he failed to check the illegal minting of coins. Money lost its value and trade suffered. He also planned 2 expeditions, Qarachill and Khurasan, but the former did not bring him any profit and the latter was not carried out. These points mark the strengths and weaknesses of Muhammad Bin Tughluq.
