3rd July 2020

Dear Sharan,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. How are uncle and aunt? It has been a long time since we met, and perhaps it might be some while till we meet again due to the ongoing pandemic.

I got to know from the latest news that the Maharashtra Government has decided to impose a 10-day lockdown in certain places of Mumbai to prevent the spread of Coronavirus cases. Dombivali also happens to be under the lockdown area according to the notice. All of this seems unreal, doesn't it? Living in the house, secluded from the world, is all quite new for everyone. However, these tough times are a test of our patience and perseverance. We should all stay united to become each other's strength and fight this battle together. I hope you are taking all the necessary precautions that have been mentioned in the guidelines given by the government.

Take care of yourself and your parents and do not forget to sanitize and social distance. These simple things can help keep a check on the growing pandemic. I hope to see you soon, once everything is back to normal.

Lovingly,

Vicky
