To Find the how much lace is needed first we have to find perimeter of handkerchiefs

As handkerchief is in square shape and Side of it is 40cm

Therefore,
Perimeter of Handkerchief (Square)= Side * Side
= 40 * 40 = 1600 cm

As she want to stitch 8 handkerchief
So,
= 8 * 1600
= 12800 cm
=128 m. ( 100cm = 1m)

Therefore , she need 128m of lace to stitch 8 handkerchief .

As lace 1m lace is available at ₹25

So , For 128m lace
Cost will be = 128 * 25
= ₹3500

Therefore , for 128m lace it will cost ₹3500 .
