Answer:

By simply applying inverse of unitary method the sum can be solved.

For 5 men the work is completed in=12 days

For 1 man the no. of days taken will be more than 5men to do the same work.

1 man=5×12 days

So 5×12 days = 1man

6 days = 1 × 5× 12 /6 = 10 men.

☘️ Given :

  • Work done by 5 men in 12 days
  • How many more should be employed to finish the work in 6 days

☘️ Solution :

As given in the question,

5 men can finish a work in 12 days.

1 man can do it in (12 × 5) = 60 days.

So, each man can do 1/60th of the work in 1 day.

Now,

Let x be the number of men required.

Then,

work done in 1 day = x/60.

Number of days required to complete the work = 60/x.

60/x = 6, so x = 10

Thus, 10 people are required.
