3 men or 4 women does a work in 16 days means

16 men does it in 16 days

And 4 women can also do this in 16 days

Work remain same, we can equate both these equations

Work done by 3 men in 16 days is equal to work done by 4 women in 16 days , therefore

3 men * 16 days = 4 women * 16

3 Men = 4 women

Or men/ women = 4/3

Which means we can say if a man does 4 units of work then a woman will do 3 units of work in a single day

Total work = 3*men*16 = 4*womem*16

We cam calculate total work by substituting the value of men or women in above equation

Total work = 3 * 4units *16 = 192 units

Now 12 men and 8 womenone day work=

12* 4 units + 8*3 units = 48+ 24 = 72 units

Time they will take to complete 192 units will be equal to

= Total work/(one day work)

= 192/72

= 8/3 days

Or 2.66 days (Ans)

5 men = 10women
then
1m = 2women
put a value in man
5 ×2 +10 women
20 women -- 6d
time × person = work
20 w × 6 then = 6 women ( 2women +4women)

then answer = 20 days

hope it helps you ☺ ...
