Answer: 12 moles of C are formed.
Explanation: As from the reaction, 1 mole of A reacts with 2 moles of B. But from the question, it is evident that 5 moles of A should react with 10 moles of B, as per stoichiometry.
But only 8 moles are given. So limiting reagent is B.
Now, 2 moles of B gives 3 moles of C. Therefore, by applying unitary method, 8 moles of B gives 12 moles of C.
