The denominator must be Equal of both Rational numbers if not make them equal

Step 2 :-

Multiply and Divide both Rational numbers by ( n + 1 ) if we have to find n rational numbers

Solution :

We have to find 5 rational numbers between 1/2 and 1/3.

Equating the denominator also multiplying and dividing by 6 to both numbers

• Multiplying by 12/12 to 1/3:

1/3 × 12×12 = 12/36

• Multiplying by 18/18 to 1/2:

1/2×18/18 = 18/36

13/36 , 14/36 , 15/36 , 16/36 , 17/36
