Follow the BODMAS rule
5 of 1/4 /1 of 2/5 + 1 of 1/4
5/4 / 2/5 + 1/4
25/8 + 1/4
27/8

5 of 1/4 of 2/5+1of 1/4=x
=>5×1/4×2/5+1×1/4=x
=>5/4×2/5+1/4=x
=>10/25+1/4=x
=>2/5+1/4=x
=>(10+5)/20=x
=>15/20=x or 3/4 is the required answer.
