The cost of 5 pencils = Rs. 3.75

The cost of 1 pencil = 3.75 ÷ 5 = Rs. 0.75

The cost of 8 pencils = Rs. 8 × 0.75 = 6

So, The cost of 8 pencils = Rs. 6
