Solution :

Let pen : P

Book : B

Given

5P + B = 225

also , 10P = B

so , 5P + 10P = 225

15P = 225

P = 15

B = 150

Cost of 3 Pen and 2 Books = 3P + 2B

= 3(15) + 2(150)

= 45 + 300

= 345
