Laxmanrao Kirloskar was born in a small village. From an early age, he did not pay much attention to his studies. They collected broken watches, paintings, chalk, and charcoal. He loved going to the station and watching the train engine. Even in school, he does not like subjects like mathematics and Sanskrit at all, but his favorite subjects are geometry, geography and painting. At the age of fifteen, he decided to give up education. He had a keen interest in machinery and left school to work in a pottery factory. They could not be satisfied just by running a machine. His focus was on how the device was made. With no previous experience, he worked in a printing press, building a printing press and an oil engine from Germany. He was obsessed with playing with new devices. Each new device seemed like a new challenge.
