legislative power : the president can dissolve the Lok Sabah before its expiry. No bill can passed by both the houses of the parliament becomes law without her/his consent.

financial power : all money bills also require her/ his approval before they are introduced in lok sabha.

judicial power : judges of supreme court and the high courts are appointed by the president. On appeal for mercy , the president can reduce the sentence or grant pardon.

executive power: the president appointment the prime minister , governors , chief minister, etc. He/She is the supreme commander of the Indian's defence forces.
