Given,

Length of the square drawn by Ravi = 1.8 centimetres

Length of the square drawn by Anil = 3 centimetres

Area of Asim's square + Area of Ravi's square = Anil's square

To find,

The length of each side of the Asim's square.

Solution,

Area of the square which is drawn by Ravi is = 1.8 × 1.8 = 3.24 cm²

Area of the square which is drawn by Anil is = 3×3 = 9 cm²

Let,the length of each sides of the Asim's square = x cm

[Assume, x as a variable to do the further mathematical calculations.]

So,area of Asim's square = x² cm²

According to the question,

x²+3.24 = 9

x² = 5.76

x = 2.4

Hence,the length of each sides of the square which is drawn by Asim is 2.4 centimetres.
