Answer:

Let the salaries of A, B and C be x, 2x and 3x respectively

Now, we will find the value or x

2x + 3x = 6000 (Because it is said that salary of B amd C together is Rs. 6000)

☛ 5x = 6000

∴ x = 1200

∴ Salary of A = x

= Rs. 1200

∴ Salary of B = 2x

= 2 × 1200

= Rs. 2400

∴ Salary of C = 3x

= 3 × 1200

= Rs. 3600

Now, excess income of salary of C over the salary of A :-

\dfrac{3600 - 1200}{1200}

1200

3600−1200

× 100

☛ \dfrac{2400}{1200}

1200

2400

× 100

☛ \dfrac{2400}{12}

12

2400

☛ 200

∴ Excess income of salary of C over the salary of A is 200%
