Answer:

time taken by ship = 10 hours = 36000

distance covered in a hour = 16 nautical miles

= 16×1.852 km×1000

= 29632 m

Speed of the ship = 29632/10 = 2963.2m/s

Speed to cover in 8 hours = 2963.2/8= 370.4m/s

answer is 370.4 m/s
