SCIENTIST CONTRIBUTED IN CELL THEORY:

1. ROBERT HOOKE- Cells for the first time was discovered by Robert Hooke in 1665. He saw dead cork cell under a self made microscope.
2. ANTON VON LEEUWENHOOKE- Saw living cells for the first time. He saw bacterias, sperms and some free living pond cells.
3. J.E. PURKENJEE- discovered protoplasm for the first time.
4. ROBERT BROWEN- discovered nucleus for the first time.
5. SCHLEIDEN AND SCHWANN- Botanist and zoologist respectively they contributed in cell theory stating that
