- The English translation of the second sloka: Like the saints, trees do their favours to living beings with their skin, branches, leaves, roots, flowers, fruits, juices, etc.,
"त्वक्शाखापत्रमूलैश्च पुष्पफलरसादिभिः।
प्रत्यङ्गरुपकुर्वन्ति वृक्षाः सद्भिः समं सदा ।।"
- The English translation of the third sloka is: trees are so great that they live only for charity. They tolerate storms, rain and cold on their own.
