5. Solve the following word problems.
a.Find the total surface area of a cuboid with dimensions 6 cm, 5 cm and 3 cm. Also,
find the cost of painting its lateral surface at 5 per cm?
b. The total surface area of a cube is 600 m². Find the side length and lateral surface area
of the cube.
C. The walls and ceiling of a room are to be plastered. The length, breadth and height
of the room are 4.5 m, 3 m and 350 cm respectively. Find the cost of plastering at the
rate of rs 8 per m^2
d. Four cubes, each of side 8 cm, are placed adjacent to each other. Find the total surfacearea of the cuboid formed.
e.A rectangular sheet of paper is 22 cm long and 10 cm wide. A cylinder is formed by rolling the paper along its length. Find the lateral surface area of the cylinder.
