Step-by-step explanation:

x - 2y = 2 -  -  -  -  -  - (i) \\ 3x + 4y - 3 = 0  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \\ 3x + 4y = 3 -  -  -  -  -  - {ii}

Multiplying equation (i) by 3 we get

3x-6y=2

3x+4y=3

(-) (-) (-) {By Subtracting}

--------------

-10y=-1

y=1/10

Putting the value of y in eq (i) we get

x-2(1/10)=2

X-(1/5)=2

x=2+(1/5)

x=(10+1)/5

x=11/5

Answer:

x-2y=2

x=2+2y

now in eqn 2

3(2+2y)+4y-3=0

6+6y+4y=3

6+10y=3

10y= -3

y= -3/10

now,

x-2(-3/10)=2

x+6/10=2

x=2-6/10

x=2-3/5

x=7/5
