X/2+2Y/3=11 & X-Y/4=3

BY TAKING LCM WE GET

3X+4Y=66 __(1) &

4X-Y=12__(2)

BY APPLYING ELIMINATION METHOD

WE GET

Y=4X-12

IN EQUATION _(1)

3X+4[4X-12]=66

3X+16X-48=66

19X=66+48

19X=114

X= 6

IN EQUATION (2)

Y=4(6)-12

Y=24-12

Y=12
