Answer:
Under our Constitution, every citizen is equal and enjoys the right to freedom and the right against exploitation. Any citizen who is deprived of his/her rights can seek justice in a court of law. In theory, these rights should have been enough to protect every one. However, in practice, the weaker sections of society are often oppressed and do not have the means to seek justice. This is why it becomes necessary to make special laws to protect these sections. The Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act is an example of a special law. It has made it easier for women to protect themselves from ill-treatment by family members

Answer:
When we talk about the weaker sections of society, we mean the "disadvanted" sections of society, as no person is inherently weak. Since these people have no access to education because of oppression and lack of finance, they are left out from the big picture, and have to live their lives in indifference and constant struggle.
So new laws are needed that:
• Provide affordable education to disadvantaged sections.
• Relax eligibility laws pertaining to various jobs, so that they can have a chance at getting a good job.
• Educate the oppressor that what they are doing is wrong, and punish them accordingly if they fail to do so.
Recently, the Government of India made a law that gave reservation to poor people for admission in good universities. These people are termed as General EWS. Similarly, there are various laws that give women various rights that they were traditionally deprived of.
