Area of 5 square flowering bed

 = 5 \times  {side}^{2}  \\  = 5 \times  {2}^{2}  \\ =  5 \times 4 \\  = 20 \:  {m}^{2}

area of the piece of land

 = length \times breadth \\  = 7 \times 6 \\  = 42 \:  {m}^{2}

remaining area

=(area of reactangular field -area of 5 square bed

 =( 42 - 20) \:  {m}^{2}  \\  = 12 \:  {m}^{2}
