√5=2.2 3√5=1.7

cube root Let x = 5^1/3 Take log both sides, we get

log x = log (5^1/3) = 1/3 log 5 = 1/3* 0.6990 = 0.2330

anti log(x) = x = anti log (0.2330) = 1.710

So, 5^1/3 = 1.7

square root: find the square root of 5 using prime factorization:

5 = 5 × 1

5 = 5

Taking square root

√5 = √5

√5 = 2.2
