Answer:

a.) Negative Sign in on dimensional displacement shows the movement of the body towards left.

The word displacement implies we keep track of which way the movement occurs. In one dimension the direction is indicated by the sign: negative if to the left and positive if to the right.

b.) If we choose a direction in front of us. Then negative velocity will be our backwards. Simply negative sign of velocity in one dimensional means the object is travelling the direction opposite to what it was travelling before in positive direction.

The sign of the velocity depends on the coordinate system chosen to define the position. A positive velocity simply means that the object is moving in the positive direction, as defined by the coordinate system, while a negative velocity means the object is traveling in the other direction.

c.) Negative sign of acceleration in one dimensional means retardation os slowing down of body's initial acceleration.

According to our principle, when an object is slowing down, the acceleration is in the opposite direction as the velocity. Thus, this object has a negative acceleration. In Example D, the object is moving in the negative direction (i.e., has a negative velocity) and is speeding up.
