State the reason for the reddish appearance of the Sun at sunrise.

because at sunrise sun's level is low so it has to pass through dust particles that allows only red light to pass

because at the time rise , the ray of light coming from the sun has to travel a long distance due to which other colours of light having shorter wavelength refracted more by atmosphere and go away from our eye sight but red colour of light having large wavelength refracted less and spread in all direction due to which sun appears red during sunrise
