The circulation of water between ocean and land is known as the water cycle. Excessive rains may cause floods while lack of it for long periods may cause droughts. The water, or hydrologic, cycle describes the pilgrimage of water as water molecules make their way from the Earth's surface to the atmosphere and back again, in some cases to below the surface. Rain water is considered the purest form of water. Impurities and salts present in water on earth are left behind during vaporisation by the sun. However, the rain water we receive on earth is not necessarily pure, as it brings down impurities and particles present in the atmosphere along with it.

Answer:

You would not use the same amount of water as from any other day.

Explanation:

If your tap was avaible you would use alot more water for things like showers, washing dishes, and playing in the pool.  Usually if water supply through tap isnt avaible alot of these things you wouldnt be able to do so much of. If you had to go to a far away place to get water it would be tiring to walk and a big use of fuel if you were in a car.  Unless you had the confidence to walk back and fourth a bunch you wouldnt be able to have alot of water.  Also, not everyone has a big water supply like a jug or barrel to keep water in so you wouldnt have as much as you would think.  These are reasons why you wouldnt use the same amount of water as any other day.
