so,
$5 = \frac{k}{3} \\ k = 5 \times 3 \\ k = 15$
$where \: there \: are \: 3 \: taps \\ 3 = \frac{k}{x} \\ 3 = \frac{15}{x} \\ x = 15 \div 3 \\ x = 5$
hence it will take 5 hours for 3 taps
