Area of square = side²

= 8×8

= 64cm²

Given,

area of square = area of rectangle

So area of rectangle = 16cm²

L×B = 64cm²

32×B =64

B= 64/32

B = 2 cm

area of square =

side × side

8 × 8 = 64

area of rectangle = 32

there fore to get the breadth

area of square/area of rectangle

64/32
