Answer:

5.cost of flooring per tile = 25 rp

money taken to floor it = 1125 rp

so; the area = 1125/25

= 45 sq meter

now acc to ques

lb = area

let l= length be x

so;

5x = 45

x = 45/5

= 9

so length is 9

6.Given that a room is 15m long

and 12m aboard

We have to the cost of carpet at rate of rupees 50

Ok first we find its area that is l×b

=15×12 = 180m^2

Now, it is given that it is square of lenght 2m

So 180÷2=90

Therefore 90×50= rupees 4500 answer

7.According to the question,

Perimeter of square=Perimeter of rectangle

⇒4× side=2(length+breadth)

⇒4×side=2(40+22)

⇒4×side=2×62

⇒ side=42×62=31cm

Thus, the side of the square is 31cm.

Now, Area of rectangle=length×breadth=40×22=880cm2

And Area of square=side×side=31×31=961cm2

Therefore, on comparing, the area of square is greater than that of rectangle.
