We know that the surface area of a hemisphere is 3πr².

Given diameter = x unit

Radius = \dfrac{diameter}{2}

\Rightarrow \dfrac{x}{2}

Putting the value of the radius in the formula = 3πx^{2}

let the value of π be \dfrac{22}{7}

So ,the answer in terms of x is

3× \dfrac{22}{7} x^{2}

\dfrac{66}{7}x^{2}
