Step-by-step explanation:

Height of the hollow cylinder = h = 14 cm

Outer curved surface area - inner curved surface area = 88

2∏h(R - r) = 88 where R is the outer radius and r is inner radius

Taking ∏ = 22/7 and simplifying we get

R - r = 1 .....(i)

Volume of outer part - Volume of inner part = 176

∏h(R2 - r2) = 176

∏h(R + r) (R - r) = 176

∏h(R + r) = 176       from (i)

R + r = 4  ....(ii)

Solving (i) and (ii) we get R = 5/2 cm and r = 3/2 cm
