The equation of an SHM with amplitude A and
angular frequency w in which all the distances are
measured from one extreme position and time is
taken to be zero at the other extreme position is
(1) X = A sin wt
(2) x = A (cos wt + sin wt)
(3) X = A - A cos wt
(4) X = A + A cos wt

Distance is measured from extreme position (i.e., at a distance equals to amplitude A from mean position ).

Also at t=0, particle executing SHM is at other extreme position.

Hence at t= 0, position of particle from reference point is 2A.

This condition is valid only for the equation : x = A+Acosωt

Hence answer :-  (4) x = A+Acosωt
