A map gives the location of the village and the approach rate to it. It serve as a guide for materials sources of revenue for revenue collectors- boundary of farm for farmers and boundary of village for administratots. it means something very small. Kritam was probably the tiniest of the seven hundred thousand villages in the India as it was a microscopic dot on the survey map.
