answer:

lcm x hcf = Product of two numbers

lcm x hcf = a x b

so,

54 × 3 = 27 × b

~ 162 = 27b

~ b = 162/27

~ b = 6

Therefore,

Other number is 6

Verification :-

LCM × HCF = Product of two numbers

→ 54 × 3 = 27 × 6

→ 162 = 162

Answer:

  • 6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

  • H.C.F of two numbers = 3
  • L.C.M of two numbers = 54
  • One of the number (x) = 27

To find

  • The other number (y)

Solution

⇒ H.C.F × L.C.M = Product of two numbers

  • 3 × 54 = x × y
  • 162 = 27 × y
  • y = 162/27
  • y = 6

∴ The other number (y) is 6.
