Answer:

let the breadth of a rectangle be x

so, length=x+10

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

so, putting values,

2(x+x+10)

2(2x+10)

4x+20=80

4x=60

x=60/4

x=15

 \underline{ \purple{ \huge \mathtt{ \fbox{ \: Solution : \:  \: }}}}

Given ,

Perimeter of rectangle is 80 m

Let , the breadth of rectangle be x

So , length of rectangle = 10 + x

We know that , the perimeter of rectangle is given by

 \large \mathtt{ \fbox{Perimeter \:  of \:  rectangle  = 2(Length  + Breadth) }}

Substitute the values , we obtain

 \sf \hookrightarrow 80 = 2(10 + x + x) \\  \\ \sf \hookrightarrow  80 = 20 + 4x \\  \\ \sf \hookrightarrow  60 = 4x\\  \\ \sf \hookrightarrow  x = \frac{60}{4}   \\  \\ \sf \hookrightarrow   x = 15

Hence , the length and breadth of rectangle are 25 m and 15 m
