Let the breadth of the rectangle be X

length= 3+X

perimeter= 2( l+b)

2( 3+X+X)= 34

2( 3+2x)= 34

3+2x= 17

2x= 14

X= 14/2= 7 cm

hence breadth= 7cm and length= 10 cm
