•According to the question

the percentage of NaOH by weight in a 1.2 molar

NaOH solution is 4.5%

1.2 molar = 48 gm

4.5% by mass

so

48/X = 4.5/100 (if X= mass of solution)

so, X=106.6 gm

mass of solution = 106.6gm

density = mass of solution/volume of the solution

volume of the solution = 1L = 1000 ml

mass of solution = 106.6gm

Density = 106.6/1000 = 0.106 gm/ml

Density= 0.106 gm/ml
