5)The perimeter of a rectangular field is 240 m. If its length is 90 m, find:
(i) it’s breadth
(ii) its area.

finding \: breadth:-

 PERIMETER=2(length+breadth)

240 = 2(90 + breadth)

120 = 90 + breadth

120 - 90 = breadth

so \: breadth \:  = 30 \: m

finding \: area:-

area = length \times breadth

 = 90 \times 30

 = 2700 \:  {m}^{2}
