Step-by-step explanation:

let breadth of rectangle = X

then,

length of rectangle = X + 20

side of square = 15cm. (given)

according to the question,

perimeter of rectangle = perimeter of square

2(length + breadth) = 4 x side

2 ( X +20 +X) = 4 x 15

2(2X +20) = 60

4X + 40=60

4X = 60-40

4X = 20

X = 20/4 = 5

breadth of rectangle = X = 5 cm

length of rectangle = X + 20 = 5+20 = 25cm
