put :-

  • p = 8/7

 \implies  \dfrac{8}{7}  = 4a

\implies  \dfrac{8}{7}  \times   \dfrac{1}{4} = a

\implies  \dfrac{2}{7}  \times   \dfrac{1}{1} = a

\implies  \dfrac{2}{7}  = a

therefore , length of each side of the board = 2/7 m
