[5] The sum of the magnitudes of two forces
acting on a particle is 18 N & the magnitude
of their resultant is 12 N. If the resultant is at
right angle with the force of smaller
magnitude then find the magnitude of those
two forces.
P=i+2j-4k & ©=i+2j-k
then Find (P+Q).(P-O)​

Now we have two equations,

P + Q = 18 and

P - Q = 8

on solving both equations, we get...

P = 13 N and

Q = 5 N
