Answer:

0.25m/s²

Explanation:

Convert the speed to SI units

15 km/h= 15 x 5/18 = 25/6 m/s

33 km/h=33 x 5/18=55/6 m/s

a=(v-u)/t

v=55/6

u=25/6

v-u=30/6=5 m/s

t=20 secs

5/20=1/4=0.25

so a=0.25 m/s²

hope it helps

Given :-

Initial velocity = 15 km/h

Final velocity = 33 km/h

Time = 20 s

To Find :-

Acceleration

Solution :-

Conversion of units

1 km/h = 5/18 m/s

15 km/h = 15 × 5/18 = 75/18 m/s

33 km/h = 33 × 5/18 = 165/18

Now

v = u + at

(165/18) = 75/18 + a(20)

165/18 - 75/18 = 20a

165 - 75/18 = 20a

90/18 = 20a

5 = 20a

5/20 = a

0.25 = a

Hence

Acceleration is 0.25 m/s²
