5 .There is an argument about uniform acceleration between Mr. X and Mr. Y.

Mr. X says “acceleration means that farther you go faster you go”. Mr. Y says

“acceleration means that longer you go the faster you go”. Whose statement

is correct?

Mr. X is right, since he says “the farther you go the faster you go”, which implies, the more distance we travel in a given time the more is our velocity and thus he is right. Whereas Mr. Y says “the longer you go the faster you go”. Now, longer means more time.
