Answer:

Answer 5 - The angles are 40°,60° and 80°

Answer6 - The angle will be 80º.

Step-by-step explanation:

Solution 5.

Three angles which add to 180° are in the ratio 2 : 3:4. Find the angles.

Let the angles are 2x, 3x and 4x

So, 2x + 3x + 4x = 180°

or,          9x = 180°

or,            x = 180° / 9

so,            x = 20°

Therefore, the angles  are 2 X 20° = 40°

                                            3  X 20° = 60°

                                           4    X 20° = 80°

Solution 6.

20% of an angle is the complement of 74º. Find the angle.

ATQ, Complement of 74º = 90 - 74º

                                          = 16º

Now,  let the angle be x and its 20 % = 20x / 100    or  x/5

therefore   x / 5 = 16º

or,                x = 16º X 5 = 80º

Answer - The angle will be 80º.

5. Let the angle be ' x '

● 2x + 3x + 4x = Total degree

=> 2x + 3x + 4x = 180°

=> 9x = 180°

=> x = 180 / 9

=> x = 20°

To find :

2x = 2 × 20 = 40°

3x = 3 × 20 = 60°

4x = 4 × 20 = 80°

Verification :

40° + 60° + 80° = 180°

=> 100° + 80° = 180°

☃️ => 180° = 180°

Hence verified.

6. To find the angle :

☃️ 20 + 74 = 94°

Therefore, it's 94°
