hcf of 72cm, 128cm and 152cm is 8

cut into pieces of equal length = 44

 = \frac{72 + 128 + 152}{8} \\ = \frac{352}{8} \\ = 44

from 72 there is 1.636363636363636363 piece

from 127 there is 2.909090909090909090 pieces

from 152 there is 3.454545454545454545 pieces

total no of equal pieces = 1.636363636363636363 + 2.909090909090909090 + 3.454545454545454545 = 8

hope this will help you
