(ii)The seed contains an embryo - a group of cells ready to form roots, a stem and the first leaves. Once the coat around the seed is moistened, the embryo cells expand and burst out in a process called germination.

(iii)NO. You can not imagine your life without water, you just can not.

70 per cent of your body is made of water. So if there's no water, then you'll crumble like dust. Your brain and internal organs are lubricated with fluids whose major ingredient is water.

Your joints will dry up and crack. You won't be able to walk. Eventually, your organs will start experiencing friction. They will also dry up.
